Nazi glamour: RUTH BUCHARDT

Since today, May 4, is the 70th anniversary of Denmark's liberation from five years of Nazi German occupation, I offer you the sole Danish contribution to UFA during the war, blonde bombshell Ruth Buchardt, who was hailed by the German entertainment media at the time with the typical horn dog prose. Miss Buchardt found herself pinned up all over the Nazi war machine, a veritable German Betty Grable. On screen, though, she was mainly background decoration.
