Could this ramshackle home near Echo Park date back to 1920? If so, it belonged at the time to Mack Sennett comedienne Ethel Teare (1894-1959).

In my spare time, I published "Strangers in Hollywood" (Metuchen, NJ: Scarecrow press, 1994) and "Vixens Floozies and Molls" (Jefferson, NC: McFarland & Co., 1999 & 2003).
