Bespectacled (often) supporting player Byron Foulger (1899-1970), his character actress wife Dorothy Adams (1900-1988), and silent screen director turned B-western general purpose bit player Horace B. Carpenter (1875-1945) and his wife Beatrice resided in this spooky-looking Hollywood Blvd. (5540) apartment building in the 1940s.
