Perhaps not the most inviting of homes, at least from the outside, this was where star director Vincente Minnelli carried his bride, Judy Garland, over the threshold after their June 1945 wedding. It was also here that little Liza Minnelli took her first steps and where Mama Judy attempted suicide by slitting her wrists after finding Papa Vincente in flagrande delicto in the marital bed with another man. The Minnellis evacuated the home after their 1951 divorce but until then, Judy could comfort herself with a magnificent view from the living room over the glittering Sunset Strip below.
