HOPE HAMPTON in 1961

Silent screen star (mainly due to her producer husband Jules Brulatour) Hope Hampton (1897-1982) kibitzing with Zohra Lambert in Hey, Let's Twist. Hope plays Hope Hampton, Manhattan hostess-with-the-mostest and later actually performs the twist as a ballroom is momentarily turned into a groovy dancehall. Hey, Let's Twist, a true time capsule movie, may be enjoyed with a Amazon Prime membership. This was Miss Hampton's final screen appearance and she appeared to be enjoying it.
